Kvelertak: new track "1985" from new album

The Norwegian band Kvelertak presented the track "1985" from the upcoming third album "Nattesferd" ("Night Traveller").

The band commented on the new track for NPR: "Think of George Orwell's 1984 instead of Taylor Swift's 1989. Its lyrics depict a cold and (not so) distant future where technology and surveillance have erased all forms of individuality and critical thinking. Needless to say, everything was better before — can somebody hit the rewind button already?"

"Nattesferd", self-produced by the band’s members, comes out on May 13 via Roadrunner Records. The album is to be available for pre-order on April 8. Kvelertak’s upcoming concerts are to be held in Sweden (March 10) and Norway (March 11, April 7), then the band’s going to the North American tour.
