AC/DC drummer charged with procuring a double murder

In New Zealand AC/DC drummer, Phil Rudd, was arrested on suspicion of procuring the double murder, according to news website Stuff.co.nz.

The musician was arrested on November 6 in the morning after police search in his house. In the afternoon Phil Rudd was taken to court where he was charged with attempted murder and illegal drug possession, which were found during the search. According to the Daily Mail, at the hearing were provided documents confirming musician tried to hire a hitman for a double murder in the end of September. Judge Louis Bidois forbidden to divulge the killer's and potential victims names, which were announced at the court hearing. However, according to information posted on Stuff.co.nz, we can assume that one of the possible victims could become a man: "One of the alleged victims told Fairfax this afternoon he didn't want to comment before speaking to his lawyer".

Phil Rudd also didn't give any comment on the incident, and was released on bail with the condition not to leave the city, not to communicate with potential victims and hitman. The next court hearing is scheduled for November 27.

AC/DC posted a laconic message on the official website:

"We've only become aware of Phil's arrest as the news was breaking. We have no further comment. Phil's absence will not affect the release of our new album Rock or Bust and upcoming tour next year".
