"Kaiho" came out two years after the release of its predecessor "Sorni Nai". All lyrics for the record have been written by the Finnish singer/songwriter Marja Mattlar. According to the band, the new album "focuses on childhood and the transition to adulthood, when the death of a loved one shatters halcyon beginnings and makes clear the stark reckoning that awaits in the end".

Kauan’s upcoming performances:

October 5 — Poland, Krakow @ Apoteka Pub
October 7 — The Netherlands, Baarlo @ Progpower Europe 2017
October 8 — Germany, Erfurt @ Club From Hell

Previously, Kauan’s members have recorded a silent crowd in Kyiv, Ukraine.
