Morgoth post video for song "Traitor" about child soldiers

The German band Morgoth released the video for the song "Traitor", which deal with the topic of child soldiers. It was directed by Dirk Behlau for Pixeleye Interactive, who has previously worked with Arch Enemy and Dr. Living Dead.

Morgoth's guitarist Harry Busse comments: "The first idea that existed for 'Traitor' was the marching riff you find in the verse of the song. After we wrote the bridge and the chorus, the song was almost finished from its instrumental side. I still had no idea in which direction the lyrics should go. Only when Sebastian (Morgoth's rhythm guitarist — editor) came up with the clean guitar, that introduces and completes the song, did I have the idea for a theme that would perfectly match the sadness and desperation of this interlude, followed by the brutality and mercilessness of the song itself. A child soldier, betrayed by the ones supposed to protect him, betrayed by the "Traitor"

"Traitor" appeared on the band's last full-length album "Ungod". This release was recorded with the new vocalist Karsten 'Jagger' Jäger from Disbelief. The musician replaced the band's ex-singer Marc Grewe, who left Morgoth last year.

"Ungod" came out on March 26, 2015 via Century Media Records. It's available on CD, vinyl and digital.
