Children of Bodom unveils video "Morrigan" about fighting inner demons

The Finns Children of Bodom have unveiled the new video for the song "Morrigan" from the upcoming album "I Worship Chaos". The video was directed by Patric Ullaueus, who has previously cooperated with Europe, Dimmu Borgir and Arch Enemy.

"The last time I worked with COB we did great stuff together," — Patrick Ullaeus comments: "Trashed, Lost and Strungout" was Gold awarded and the "Chaos Ridden Years — Stockholm Knockout Live" DVD was also Gold awarded. So after all these years it was a great pleasure to get to do their video again. The band decided not to be in the video. They wanted to tell the story about The Warrior Goddess Morrigan and together with the band we made this tale about a man fighting his inner demons."

The group’s ninth studio album "I Worship Chaos" comes out on October 2 via Nuclear Blast.

The band’s leader Alexi Laiho says: "To me it seems like "I Worship Chaos" has a lot darker vibe in it than the previous albums and so far everyone has told me that the songs are a lot catchier this time which I’m definitely glad about. To sum it up.. it's angry, dark and catchy as fuck. I think it’s safe to say I Worship Chaos is COB reborn even more pissed off."

Last week, the group unleashed the track "I Hurt" taken from the new record. More information about the upcoming album can be read here.
