The Italian black/doom metal band Forgotten Tomb stopped recording a new album due to an accident that occurred with its frontman Ferdinando Marchisio at the end of 2016.

The band’s message on Facebook:

"Hey folks, sorry for the recent lack of news. Our mainman F. got seriously injured in an accident 1 month ago and consequences have been that the recording-sessions for the new album got postponed and all upcoming shows/tours got cancelled, since he's unable to perform both in studio and live. He's recovering fast though and we'll keep you posted about our next moves. The album will drop sometime in 2017, details will be revealed as soon as we are able to get back into the studio."

This upcoming album will follow Forgotten Tomb’s "Hurt Yourself and the Ones You Love", which was released in 2015 via Agonia Records.
