It has been over 35 years since that day, when the initial chords of the composition "Sultans Of Swing" was first sounded in the air all over the planet. And 20 years ago, when the rock band Dire Straits has ceased to exist. It has left a very great catalog of compositions and musical works that were included in the golden fund of rock music. Over time, their reputation has become even stronger. A record number of sold albums — more than one hundred and twenty million pieces — continues to grow, and further, because of new, young fans who join the worldwide community of the band lovers.

Against the background of twenty-year break and a growing need to hear one of the most dramatic song collections in the history of rock music, Chris White and other Dire Straits members organized group for the charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011. As the soloist was invited songwriter Terence Reis. For three and a half years, the group has given more than 150 concerts in 25 countries.

The Dire Straits Experience combined a star cast of one of the best professional musicians in the UK. Together, they worked with an enviable amount of the first echelon rock stars, including, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Elton John, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Van Morrison, Tom Jones and Sheryl Crow. Most recently, the band was joined by drummer Chris Whitten, who has played with Dire Straits 229 concerts in 19 countries.

And it just happened that these songs with all their grandeur and amazing beauty, are going to sound live again. For the fans, who provided them with long life.
