Dave Mustaine, the leader of American thrash metallers Megadeth, is back after a successful cancer treatment. The band is currently touring Europe along with Five Finger Death Punch.

On January 15, 2020, Megadeth posted a few photos on Facebook from the band's rehearsal ahead of the European tour with FFDP. A few days later, a photo of Mustaine appeared on the page with a short comment, "I'm back."

Below is a video featuring Megadeth's first 2020's gig in Helsinki, which took place on January 20. In total, 20 performances are planned as a part of the current tour, including shows in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the UK, and other European countries.

Last October, the band's co-founder and band bass player David Ellefson revealed that Mustaine successfully completed his treatment.
